3 Mobile lets Apple know how much their customers want the iPhone
3 Mobile have not been included in the list of providers who will offer the 3G iPhone. So far Optus, Vodafone and Telstra are the only providers.
3 Mobile have a loyal customer base and have launched a petition on the 3 Mobile blog with the aim of getting Apple to reconsider and allow 3 to offer the iPhone.
The response has been huge with over 1000 comments left on the blog in addition to sms messages of support.
The first comment summed up the general tone of the messages:
Subscribe to the hsia RSS feed“3 are the best network in Australia when it comes down to value for money and knowing exactly what you are paying for. I will not buy the iPhone unless it is on the 3 network! Come on Apple, come to the party!!!”

1 GB for $15 plus $5 modem charge. This is the cheapest mobile broadband plan available and excellent if you need email and Internet while on the move.
5 GB for $39. Great value plan in the mid-range price bracket. No excess data charges.

It’s funny. I remember hearing that the only reason Apple went with AT&T was because the better carriers wouldn’t play ball and give the buyers the right kind of deal… any chance 3 didi the same thing?
Of course I don’t believe everything I read on the internet…
