<p>The speculation appears to have started on the Cnet forums when a poster claimed that they were advised by Virgin to wait a couple of weeks by which time they would be able to get the iPhone through Virgin.</p>
<p>Cnet and ZDnet tried to confirm the rumours but were told by a spokesperson that Virgin had nothing to announce.</p>
