Share mobile broadband with a Wireless 3G router
If you’re frequently in the situation where you’re on the road with someone else and you both need mobile broadband then it’s worth considering a wireless 3G router.
What it does is allow multiple users to connect to the 3G network using one modem device such as a PC card or a USB modem. This means of course that you only need one mobile broadband plan. It’s easy to set up and can be a cost saving after the initial outlay for the router.
The way the routers work is to relay the 3G broadband connection into a wireless connection that you can share. You create your own wireless hotspot.
Router manufacturer, Billion, have developed a series of wireless routers. The Billion BiPAC 7402XL 3G (USB)/ADSL2+ Router doubles as a way of sharing mobile broadband while on the road and also sharing an ADSL2+ connection at home or in the office.
