Vodafone Mobile Broadband Coverage Reaches 94% of Population
Vodafone has extended 3G mobile broadband coverage to reach 94% of the population. Up until yesterday only 80% of the population was covered by the Vodafone network.
Vodafone mobile broadband coverage now extends to:
- Kununurra in WA
- Port Douglas in Queensland
- Devonport in Tasmania
CEOÂ Nigel Dews made the following comments:

“More Vodafone customers, in more places, can now get online on their mobile phone or laptop while they’re out and about, to keep up-to-date on emails, stay in-touch with friends and family via Facebook, MySpace or Twitter and blog, game or Google.â€
